Mobley Plant Farm, Inc. started in August 1992 with 9 quanset hoop houses. We now have over 131,000 square feet of greenhouses and over 30,000 square feet of outside growing area. These greenhouses include two large ranges and two large gutter connects. We are a Seasonal Annual Color greenhouse, supplying to landcapers and garden centers. Our flowers are grown in 1801's and 1501's and we also do a large number of baskets, including Geraniums, Petunias, etc.
The idea originated with Dennis Mobley and then the whole family got involved. Brother Dave Mobley is the "grower" of the operation and spends all his time taking care of the plants. Parents Lloyd and Larvis Mobley are now retired, but have spent many years helping run the business. Sister Debra is on the administration side of the business, running the accounts and keeping up with the customers. The family has a long history in the "green" business. Lloyd and Larvis ran Green Brothers Garden Center for many years in Chamblee, Georgia and Dennis, Dave and Debra were also involved in the stores.
